Terms and Conditions
LIABILITY:
S&J CD Duplication, Inc. limits liability to re-do or refund (at our sole discretion) on the services performed, providing that the product is deemed defective by reason of workmanship or material. Reruns or refunds will only commensurate the quantity or value of goods deemed defective. No product is replaced, or credit given, after thirty (30) days of receipt of the finished project. Shipments sent back or returned to the client on the account of S&J CD Duplication, Inc. will be sent via UPS ground only. S&J CD Duplication, Inc. will not be held liable for damages or errors occurring as a result of the shipping company whether it be the shipment itself or components of the product. All problems or concerns are handled as professionally and as fairly as possible, however if a client deems it necessary to pursue litigation, such litigation will be held in the courts of the Orange Park, FL area of zip code 32065.
DATA CONCERNS:
Do not send any data that has not been backed-up. S&J CD Duplication, Inc.will not be held responsible for lost or damaged data. This means do not send your only masters. Software piracy is a federal offense. We will not perform any illegal duplication or replication. All materials submitted to S&J CD Duplication, Inc. remain the property of the customer, but masters and artwork are kept on file for the ease of reordering and for piracy concerns. Master returns must be in writing and shipping will be charged accordingly.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS:
If an order is cancelled for any reason, the customer is responsible for any graphic design, film or manufacturing charges incurred while in production.
TURN-AROUND TIMES:
10 – 12 business days for bulk replicated orders, or orders that require no printed materials (jackets etc.). 12 -14 business days for fully packaged replicated products (except during peak times). 2- 3 business days for duplicated (CD-R / DVD-R) products whether packaged or bulk. Please keep in mind that your project cannot begin until all artwork has been approved. Turn around times also do not include the transit time from our door to yours. There are varying rush options. Please call for details. Day 0 is the day the master, order form, initial deposit and artwork approval is received. No turn begins until an artwork approval is received in writing by email or fax.
DEPOSIT:
We require a 50% deposit on all orders with the balance to be paid prior to shipping the final product out (no C.O.D’s). No work will proceed on any order until the appropriate deposit has been received. We require final payment in full before shipping any product. Purchase orders are acceptable for clients with an established account. To request a credit application please email jeff@snjcd.com. Your inquiry will be directed to the correct department.
OVER & UNDER:
We charge only for the number of units ordered. We have a no overrun policy. There are times when an order is short. Although this is very rare we consider an acceptable order quantity no more than 5% short of the total amount ordered. If we are short a refund will be given for the number of units shorted at purchase cost.
DEADLINES:
Although we make every effort to meet your deadline, we are not liable for delays. Any shipping upgrades, etc. required to make your deadline are your responsibility and must be arranged prior to your project starting production. No shipping changes will be made once the project goes into production. This is for quality control purposes. No rush status of any project may be changed after the job is sent to production (after final art approval). Only under extraordinary conditions will we allow for changes in shipping or rush status. PACKAGE LIABILITY:
S&J CD Duplication, Inc. will not be held responsible for materials damaged in the transit process. Please insure your package accordingly.
PIRACY:
Piracy is a major concern for all CD / DVD manufacturing facilities in today’s world. At S&J CD Duplication, Inc. we strive to conserve the original artists rights to their products.
